Planning routes and schedules

Presented at the press conference on Friday, September 22, 2023 in Ortigia, this second experimental phase will start on October 2, 2023.

The new Syracuse urban lines, identifiable by colors, are composed as follows: two Backbones (Scala Greca and S.Panagia) that will cross the city from north to south, connected by interchange stops with 8 circulars (Akradina, Ortigia, Grottasanta, S.Lucia, Epipoli, Circular 23 Strada del Mare, Circular 21 Cassibile, Circular 22 Cassibile) and two lines (Belvedere and Cemetery) in such a way as to serve all neighborhoods.

The planning of the new routes and schedules has been carefully studied by local authorities to ensure efficient coverage of the entire territory.

SAIS Autolinee will implement monitoring systems and continuous updates based on passenger flows and community needs, ensuring flexibility and a better response to the needs of travelers.
